Basic Care
Rooting a Plectranthus hadiensis (Vicks Plant) is relatively easy and may be done in water or soil. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help root your plant cuttings successfully:
Option 1: Water Method
Remove the bottom leaves from the stem (leave a few at the top).
Place stem in a glass of water (make sure no leaves are submerged).
Set in a warm, bright spot out of direct sunlight.
Change water every few days.
Roots should appear in 7–14 days. Transplant when roots are 1 inch+ long.
Option 2: Soil Method
Remove the bottom leaves from the stem (leave a few at the top).
Stick stem into moist, well-draining soil (cactus/succulent mix works great).
Keep soil lightly moist—not soggy.
Place in bright, indirect light. New growth will indicate rooting!
Plant Care (After Rooting)
Light: Bright, indirect sunlight
Water: Let soil dry between waterings
Soil: Well-draining mix
Climate: Warm temps; protect from frost.
Fun Uses
Rub leaves and inhale for a natural menthol boost

Naturally repels mosquitoes!
Happy Growing!
